HARMONY! FRIENDSHIP! EXHILARATION!
Nickel City Sound is an energetic, fun-loving group of women
who enjoy the challenge of performing and promoting
four-part a cappella (unaccompanied) harmony in the
barbershop style.
Presently comprised of 45 women from Sudbury, Ontario,
Canada, we come from different backgrounds, musical
abilities, age groups, and varying degrees of musical
experience, but
have found that special "blend of friendship" that has led
to our success story!
Nickel City Sound is a member of Harmony Inc., a non-profit
international organization of women barbershop singers with
over 80 chapters in the U.S. and Canada. Harmony, Inc. is an international, non-profit organization whose purpose is to empower all women through education, friendship and a cappella singing in the barbershop style.
